Description

General information:

This is a 3-hour course that is designed specifically for pistols equipped with a Pistol Optic (aka RDS/Red Dot Sights/electronic pistol mounted sights).

Students will be instructed on the following:

• Installation and maintenance of the optic
• Calibration and the metrics behind different Zeroing distances
• Dot acquisition upon presentation
• Practical accuracy & marksmanship
• Tracking the dot under recoil

Students will need to bring the following:

• Valid Photo ID/ DL.  Any Minors will need to be checked in by a parent or legal guardian.
• Their own firearm with optic installed prior to class. If you do not own a firearm, you will have the opportunity to rent a firearm for the range portion of this class. (The cost of the rental firearm and its ammunition is not included in the class cost.)
• 150 rounds of ammunition. If you need to buy ammunition the day of the class there will be time to do so.
• Eye and Ear protection. We do have these available to rent or purchase if you do not have your own. Both eye and ear protection are mandatory on the range at all times.
• Paper and Pen if needed for notes. (Optional.)

*The Range fee and one target is included with the price of the class. Anything else needed is available upon purchase at the store.

**Firearms brought to class must be cleared by range staff prior to entering the classroom
